Yes — a 50% deposit confirms your order and puts your blinds into manufacture, with the balance due once fitting is complete and you're happy. We accept cash, debit and credit cards, and bank transfer, so you can pay whichever way is easiest for you.

Yes. Every installation is covered by a 12-month guarantee. If a fault develops with a blind or with the fitting inside that period, we come back and put it right. Because our own fitters do the installation, there's no gap between the person who sold the blind and the person responsible for it working.

If you have babies or toddlers, tell us at the consultation and we'll also point you towards wand-operated, Perfect Fit and cordless designs with no accessible cords at all.

No — please don't feel you have to. Accurate measuring is part of the service, done with proper equipment at the free consultation, and once we've taken the sizes the responsibility for them is ours, not yours. If you want a ballpark conversation before we visit, rough sizes are handy, but the measurements your blinds are made to will always be ours.

Our fitters arrive at the agreed time, fit and align each blind, and check everything operates smoothly before they leave. Drilling into brick or plaster creates a little dust, which we tidy up, and Perfect Fit blinds need no drilling at all. Most homes are done in a single visit, and you don't need to clear the room — just reasonable access to the windows.

Blackout fabrics are available across rollers, romans, pleated, vertical and Perfect Fit blinds, and blackout skylight blinds cover loft bedrooms. Just as important is the fitting position, which controls light leaking around the edges — something we'll plan for your specific windows at the visit.

Steam and splashes call for materials that don't mind moisture: splash-proof and wipeable roller fabrics, vinyl, faux-wood venetians and metal venetians all cope well and clean easily with a damp cloth. We'd steer you away from real wooden slats and delicate fabrics in these rooms, as humidity will spoil them long before they'd wear out anywhere else.
