Glare control that keeps screens readable

The fix is choosing the right fabric for the orientation of the glazing: dimout rollers or screen-type fabrics that knock back glare while keeping rooms daylit, or vertical blinds whose tilting louvres track the sun through the day. South- and west-facing elevations usually justify a different specification from north-facing ones, and a good survey deals with each face of the building on its own terms rather than blanketing everything in the same blind.
